I had 2 more postcards in the mail when I got home! I cannot tell you how much they mean to me. Thank you so very much. I will be sending them and a few goodies to my sis this weekend.

Postcards for Amanda’s mom
First postcard! This gave me a much needed smile. Today is 3 months exactly that she’s been gone. I’m going to see her mom and sister tomorrow. Even tho there’s just one, I’m going to give it to her and share the smile I got today. Thank you :)

So, I have this idea. My sister, Amanda’s mom, has said that her death doesn’t feel real that its like she’s just on vacation. I was thinking of getting a bunch of postcards from places all over the world that Amanda would’ve liked to visit and write little sentiments on each one. This morning another idea came to me. I was wondering if some of you that followed Amanda would like to help me out. If you want to get a postcard from wherever you are and write something on it about Amanda that was special to you and send it to me, you don’t have to add your address or even your real name if you prefer, I will put them together for her mom for the holidays. I was wondering if there is any way to download a video that has been posted to Tumblr by someone else? I just thought if there was any that Amanda’s mom would want to keep to hear her voice that you guys were the one’s to ask. We know how big a part of her life this community was and how much you all adored her. She truly adored so many of you too. Thank you all so very much for your kind words, during her life and after. This is one of my favorite pics of me and my niece, I’m only 8 months older than her and now she’s gone. She was more like a sister to me because we grew up together, but I also consider her one of my best friends. She loved so many of you on here, I just want you to know that your conversations and posts meant more to her than you could ever know.
